Elliptical Trainer Maintenance Tips

Electronic displays and frames should be cleaned and dried daily to remove corrosive materials. Products like Simple Green diluted with water, or even a light soapy water solution will do the job. ALWAYS wipe down with a dry cloth afterwards. As most internal parts are contained within a shroud, little contamination from grit, sweat, or dust typically occurs.

Sweat, dust, and dirt can build-up underneath the gliding wheels or on the surface they slide along. This should be cleaned and dried daily to avoid undue noise while in use, avoid premature wear, and keep the motion of the machine as smooth as possible.

The lifespan of any moving part is not indefinite, so the drive belt or chain may need replacement sometime during the ownership of the machine. Consult the owner’s manual or the Body Works Fitness service department at 888-285-0700 with any questions or concerns.
